Notes on accommodation
The accommodation retains all of its original character and has been tastefully decorated throughout with new furniture and carpets. The spacious lounge/dinning area is ideal for communal living and has fabulous views of the town. If a more cozy evening is required you can make use of the television room for a more intimate and snug experience. The accommodation lends itself to more than one family. Historically it has always played an integral part to the Town's Community (the lounge area was used to sign up recruits during the First World War). This 4/5 bedroom spacious Apartment, situated on the 1st and 2nd floor, of an 18thC grade II listed building provides an ideal base to explore within 50mile radius you can reach North East coast, Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and Newcastle or Durham. Centrally located, this holiday let is only a very short walk from the town amenities, areas of local interests, open air swimming pool, restaurant and the local pub! It is ideal for more than 1 family who can enjoy its scenic ford with stepping stones, river walks, walks, cycle tracks and nature. A hidden jewel you will return to!

Fully equipped dining kitchen including cooker, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer and microwave. All crockery and cutlery is provided

Single bed with en-suite facility leading off the small TV snug room.

Living Rooms:
Two four seater settees with the original fireplace (a fabulous feature) and corner unit with table light stand. The Dining table (seating 8) is situated at the other side of the room with extra seating and desk.

Other:
Parking at front of the building with extra parking located in the market square. The regular reliable local bus route is located directly outside the door.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
Duvet, linen and towels are provided. Changed weekly for two week or longer stays.
